Established in 1984, Plus Architects is an award-winning Los Angeles architectural design firm that has expertise in mixed-use developments, multi-family housing, commercial and single-family residential projects.
Through the variety in project size and diversity in clientele, the firm has developed a sophistication of skills that is responsive to market demand, land utilization and construction costs. The firm’s expertise lies in its ability to design projects that are not only attractive, sophisticated and well detailed, but are also responsive to the changing landscape of the built community.
Plus Architects looks for creative design solutions that makes efficient use of space so that it fulfills its function. Every building is designed to try and enhance the site in keeping with the social and environmental responsibilities of architects, at the same time creating timeless design aesthetics.

SHAHAB GHODS
As the main founding member of Plus Architects, Shahab considers himself a student of “A Pattern Language”. He brings with him over 40 years of extensive design expertise and industry experience involving a wide variety of project types. His active involvement as a Mulholland Design Review Board Member is a reflection of his passion for architecture and how he believes that we can build better communities with proper planning and architecture. Shahab holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the Southern California Institute of Architecture, Santa Monica, California.
CHRISTINE DY, AIA, LEED AP
With more than two decades of experience, Christine has always loved the challenge of the creative quest for design solutions and analyzing the nuances of the different codes each project brings. As a State of California Registered Architect, she has taken projects from the conceptual level all the way through construction administration, working collaboratively with the project team. Christine received her Bachelor of Science in Architecture degree from the University of the Philippines, Manila.
